Become a Member!
Wellspring Settlement is a charity based in Barton Hill, Bristol. We are here for the community and want to represent the community.
Many of our staff, volunteers and trustees are currently or have been members of the community. This helps us stay informed of local challenges and opportunities, and ensure that our services are rooted in what the community want and need from us.
What is membership and why is it important to us:
Each year we hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM), where our trustees are elected and our Accounts and impact are reviewed. These meetings are open to anyone but only a member of the organisation can vote on who can become a trustee and only members can become trustees.
Membership is a requirement for our charity; our constituting document says that we must have members.
Membership is a way of us being accountable to and led by the local community.
