Listen to Bristol

Explore the natural sounds of your neighbourhood, record the sounds and make music! Listen to Bristol is a new creative programme that connects residents to their natural neighbours through sound and shared music creation (no musical skills required, but if you’re a musician please bring an instrument). The workshops are the first of many across the city – you’ll be ground breakers!

We are also carrying out anonymised research during the workshops, and if you choose to take part (paid with vouchers) you will be helping us to understand how best to support nature connection and ecological citizenship in cities – thank you.

This is an all-day event (0930-1700). Vegan lunch and refreshments provided.

No musical skills required but if you’re a musician, please bring an instrument. This event is suitable for ages 10 years and upwards. If you take part in the research, you will need to be 18 years or over or have a parent/guardian with you.
