Part time MSK Osteopath, Chiropractor and Physiotherapist

Location: Wellspring Healthy Living Centre (base) plus other centres across Bristol.

Wellspring Settlement are currently seeking experienced Osteopaths, Physiotherapists and Chiropractors to join the small multi-disciplinary team treating patients referred to the Physical Therapy Service. The Service is commissioned by Bristol Clinical Commissioning Group and provides a range of physical therapies to the Bristol community. The contract has recently been extended to reach more patients at an increased range of venues across the City.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a charity to provide a service for people who may not otherwise be able to afford therapy.

Due to personal, cultural, and religious choices and beliefs patients often specify the gender of practitioner they wish to be treated by. We want to build a small but diverse team to respond to this.

You will be fully qualified and will have experience of treating a range of acute musculoskeletal conditions and of working with a diverse community and patient base. You will hold professional indemnity and public liability insurance and be a member of either the General Osteopathic Council, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, or the General Chiropractic Council. A current enhanced DBS certificate will be required.

We are looking for practitioners to start as soon as possible and the contract will be until March 2024, subject to continued funding, on a self-employed basis. We are seeking a range of therapists to provide up to 36 treatment sessions per week, with a minimum of 6 treatments per therapist.

Payment is £30 per 40-minute treatment session, room hire costs will be covered centrally.

Applicants will be contacted on receipt of application.

To apply please send a CV and covering letter for the attention of Sara Ruggeri via chc@wsb.org.uk. Or for further information contact her on 0117 304 1414.
