Easter activities at Wellspring

The school holidays are looming, and if you’re looking for things to do with the kids then check out our activities!

We’ll be hosting a holiday playscheme over the Easter holidays, with sessions on April 12th, 13th and 14th, and 19th, 20th and 21st. The sessions are free for children who are aged 5 to 11 and who are on benefit-related free school meals. All sessions are from 2pm to 6pm and children will be given lunch. You can find out more and book a place here.

Our Family Centre will still be running Stay and Play sessions, bookable appointments with family workers, and a Somali mother and baby group, you can see the timetable for this below. You can also join in with picnics in the park, running on Thursday 14th at the Urban Park, and on Thursday 21st at Netham Park.

As well as the Family Centre activities, Alive Activities will be at our Settlement Site to run two workshops for people of all ages. You’ll be able to meet other local people and learn how to plant an edible garden, make a birdfeeder and bird food, or both! The edible garden session is on April 14th, and the birdfeeder session is on April 21st, both run from 1.30pm to 3.30 pm and will be providing a free lunch. Find out about the edible garden session here, and the birdfeeder session here.
