Best Start for Mums

A free, 9-week peer support group to help mums give their children the best start in life.

Each session includes fun activities for mothers and children, snacks, and an opportunity to talk about feelings, common challenges, and share ideas. Topics are shaped around mums’ needs and may include feelings around becoming a parent, changing relationships, looking after both mum and baby’s wellbeing, as well as practical parenting issues. The groups are also an opportunity for mums to build friendships and develop supportive networks.
